Transamerica Affinity Marketing Program

Transamerica partners with organizations in two audience segments: major retailers and companies in the direct response television (DRTV) market. DJG worked with Transamerica to develop messaging and two distinct marketing campaigns that would appeal to both audiences. For DRTV, DJG developed the “Upside of Upsell” campaign and the “Good Points” campaign for retailers. We created a visual lock-up and tagline, “Extra Income. Extraordinary Integrity.” that transcends both audiences and a number of tactics including microsites, advertisements, online ads, direct mail and event marketing. The “Upside of Upsell” campaign helped grow the DRTV business 80% over the previous year.

Transamercia ERA 2014 VIP Event Marketing

In 2014, Transamerica hosted its VIP event for customers and prospects,Transvibe, in conjunction with its presence at the annual Electronic Retailing Association convention. The Transamerica team took over the hot new Rockhouse Las Vegas for a funky evening of fun with food, beverages and Purple Reign, a Prince tribute act. To make their customers and prospect go crazy, DJG created a dimensional invitation that featured a "Little Red Corvette." The scale model replica was sent in a shipping box designed to reflect the "grungy" look of the Rockhouse Las Vegas. Plastered across the box and enclosed invitation were famous Prince song names to round out the affect. Invitees loved their "new car" and the turnout was huge. At the event, attendees received a Transvibe t-shirt and partied like it was 2099.

Transamercia Dallas Cowboys Customer Appreciation Event

The Transamerica Direct Solutions Organization is located near Dallas, Texas. So what better way to show customer appreciation than to rent a suite at AT&T Stadium and invite top customers to a Dallas Cowboys game? That's what Transamerica did on Sept. 28, 2014—Cowboys vs. Saints. DJG dubbed the event the "Transamerica Day 'TD' Celebration," created an identity for the event and got to work on HTML email invites. DJG also created graphics for the shuttle bus and the suite, a branded baseball cap and drink coasters featuring Cowboys' trivia. To add to the draw, Transamerica brought in Hall of Fame running back and former Cowboy Tony Dorsett. The Cowboys won the day on the field and Transamerica won the day among their best customers.
